Named after the winged warriors of Old Norse mythology: battle maidens who embodied feminine strength, power and passion, the Valkyries are Venture's founding crew. Now in their second season, seven new members have joined the team, making the 2026 roster the most formidable they have ever been.
Our focus
The Valkyries are the backbone of Venture Dance Company's founding values — the crew that set the standard and defined the culture. 2026 is about defending what they built, pushing new boundaries and proving 2025 was no fluke. They return to this year's competition with a mission and the hunger to handle it.

In the overall hip hop standings, it was their own Mega Crew who claimed the top spot. Evolution and SASDS are on the horizon, where the Valkyries return to defend their title as SASDS Most Outstanding Hip Hop Crew 2025.
