The 2025 Valkyries are where Venture began. Eleven girls who said yes before there was anything to say yes to: no studio, no history, no reputation. VDC was just an idea. And these women shared the vision and had the courage to back it. Named after the winged warriors of Old Norse mythology, battle maidens who embodied feminine strength, power and passion. The Valkyries are Venture's founding crew. Eleven women who built something from nothing, and set the standard every crew that follows.
Focus
The Valkyries exist to compete at the highest level and carry Venture's founding values forward. They are an all-female open performance team, fiery, passionate, and filled with the fight for every placement they earn.

Season overview
The Valkyries' debut season was nothing short of remarkable. At AASCF Winterfest 2025 they took Overall Hip Hop Champions of the Day and 1st place in All Star Open Age. For Get The Beat: 3rd place against ACPA and Pure Funk. At SASDS, they won 1st place in Open Hip Hop as the newest crew in the room, against Pure Funk, Flava, TIDC, and Ground Force. The SASDS president personally applauded the Valkyries for raising the bar and invited them back to defend their title. They were also the first crew to headline a Venture Dance Company film production: Concrete Jungle Fever, with praise from the artist himself, Jerome Farah.
